My lab work focuses on vascular tissue engineering with plant-derived scaffolds and translational biomaterials research.
I have experience with decellularization protocols, histology, bright-field imaging, ImageJ analysis, animal surgeries, lab presentations, scientific writing, 2D and 3D cell culture protocols.
I also act as a research mentor to 8 undergraduate freshmen and sophomores in the Cell and Tissue Engineering Lab at Hofstra University, training students on various lab techniques.
